All about the EnerGuide path
This approached is used by experienced builders that are confident in the efficient design and construction of their homes. Homes must be designed and built to 5% greater than or equal to the ERS v15 reference house - this must be confirmed by an EnerGuide evaluation that also includes a blower door test.
The EnerGuide Rating system is recognized across Canada for homebuilders looking to get involved, gain national recognition, and meet customer demands. It is required for municipalities that have adopted the BC Step Code and is required for all homeowners interested in applying to existing home grants.
